CHAKEYS TOMI HOCKEY KIDS ACADEMY

CHAKEYS Tomi Hockey Kids Academy is a children’s hockey association established to support young hockey talents in the age category of 2015-2017 birth years.

Who are we?

Our mission is to create quality conditions for the development of children, support their growth in hockey, and shape their personal as well as team skills.

We bring together young hockey players from various parts of Slovakia – Banská Bystrica, Zvolen, Prievidza, Zlaté Moravce, Košice, Nové Mesto nad Váhom, and other cities. Under the guidance of experienced and qualified coaches from Slovakia and abroad, including Finnish experts like Tomi Vilhermä, we provide children with top-notch training and the opportunity to develop their hockey skills.

Our Activities

At CHAKEYS we don't limit ourselves to hockey training but focus on the holistic development of children. We collaborate with partners such as FIT Sport Training (youth sports preparation) and Fatra SKI (ski and snowboard school), which provide our kids with additional training – skiing, slalom, and other activities.

In 2024, in collaboration with Finnish coaches, we organized three hockey camps:

Winter Camp

Summer Camp

International Camp

Our young hockey players also met with Michal Dolinský, a future Paralympian in MONOSKI, who inspired them with his determination. In addition, they attended lectures and excursions in collaboration with the mayor of Bojnice, Ing. Ladislav Smatana.

Hockey Training Sessions
We are collaborating with the Czech club HC Kopřivnice to organize a series of sports events taking place from April 23, 2025, to June 18, 2025. These sessions will focus on improving skating, puck-handling techniques, and solving game situations such as 1:1, 2:2, or 3:3 plays. The training sessions will be held every Wednesday at ICE ARENA ZVOLEN.

Athletic Training with Eva Murková
Under the guidance of former European long jump champion Eva Murková, athletes can look forward to specialized athletic training focused on improving physical fitness and technique.

International Hockey Camp in Kapka
From March 1 to August 3, 2025, an international camp will take place, featuring hockey players from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Finland. The camp is designed for players born between 2013 and 2017 and offers a unique opportunity to improve skills under the guidance of professional coaches.

Hockey Competitions and Tournaments

To improve the hockey skills of our children, we actively participate in various competitions and tournaments. Our greatest achievements:
